This beautiful organic cotton tote bag features my own design of hands held together in A\u00f1jali Mudr\u0101, along with the Sanskrit mantra 'Namaha'. A\u00f1jali Mudr\u0101, one of the hand gestures of yoga, is a common way of greeting in most Asian countries. A\u00f1jali is a Sanskrit word which means \"salutation\" or \"to offer,\" and mudr\u0101 means \"seal\" or \"gesture.\" Therefore, A\u00f1jali Mudr\u0101 translates as \"salutation seal\" in English. Namaha is a Sanskrit term, often used within mantras as a humble salutation. The literal translation of namaha is \"not mine,\" derived from the Sanskrit negation na, paired with ma, meaning \"mine\u2019.\" As such, it is an expression of humility and a means of submitting to a higher power, reflecting the notion that one\u2019s life is in the hands of the universe.<\/p>
